  They took new samples from the Shroud in 2024 and it&apos;s authentic. <br><br>They sampled restored fragments in the 80&apos;s which was an error.

  I was raised Catholic and I&apos;m an African who is surrounded by ancestral spirituality and often the Catholic debate for why they hold these objects and saints at such high regard sounds exactly like ancestral practices which is quite ironic.

  I had to do community service at a thrift store and had to sort through everything they got and throw it all in a compactor- someone donated a relic of Saint Anthony - well I stole it- it felt like a sin to throw it in the compactor - the sin of stealing felt lesser- ya know? I don’t regret it

  I am FASCINATED by religious relics, I&apos;ve watched so many documentaries, movies, read a couple books, idk what it is, when I do go to church it&apos;s usually orthodox sometimes the Catholic church up thebst from my house just cuz its really beautiful and my daughter can sit through Catholic mass much easier... anyway, awesome topic for this video! Obsessed!!
