I just recently grew interest in ultra light fishing (matter of fact fishing in general). I wish I came across this channel and this video specifically when I was buying my first UL gear. I got the Trout Magnet SLS-150 rod to get me started but this video has me second guessing myself.

Personally not a huge fan of ultralight but I do wish someone would do a light power rod buying guide so no doubt tons of other folks find it very helpful and I do find it entertaining so 👍🏼

I always look forward to your buying guides every year. I just want to make sure you know how serious I take your recommendations, and respect your opinions! I now own 2 Belleza UX's (6'5" UL, and 6'2" SUL), Presso Air AGS 6'1", Abu Garcia Diplomat 6'1", and a Daiwa Presso 7'. I've learned more from you than any other YouTube channel, and I appreciate you so much for that. Thank you, Victor!

It's crazy how good the Shakespeare 7ft L rod is for light jigging for how cheap it is.

Caught so many fish on the Shakespeare micro lite. For the price it's the best rod I've ever owned
