That’s what I’d be worried about with the bigger pull strength. Getting it hopelessly stuck to something. 🤣<br>Also looks like if you’re finger’s in the wrong spot and you move it too close to a metal plate that could do some damage.

I think you are mistaken on the horizontal vs. vertical pull. It has to do with how thick the metal you attach to. If you lay the wheeler on the ground and stuck the magnet to the bottom of the plate it would stick just as well.

I am brand new and about to order my 1st magnet, even though I am a diver. I know absolutely nothing about these type magnets. I was planning on buying a 2,500 pound magnet. That makes no sense. Vertical, horizontal, shouldn't matter. It's a straight force pull. <br> I think the horizontal deal is sliding it sideways off a surface. <br> Also the steel on the fridge is thinner than the base of the dolly

Horizontal and vertical pull?! 😅 you have no idea how magnets work.<br>Your fridge gas a 1mm thickness metal plate.<br>The dolly is like 5mm or 1/4 inch.<br>Stick it to a solid 1 inch metal plate and it does not matter what direction you pull, it will read the nominal force it has been rated for ( 350lbs, 500lbs..)
