  In the small village of abram wigan yesterday I counted nearly 100 flags that had been out up. Its more deranged than America. If people want to be patriotic then why not pick up litter and repair vandalism instead

  We fly our flag in Wales. The difference here is that divorced dads aren’t painting it on roundabouts and the purpose of flying it has nothing to do with asylum seekers. It’s a positive thing. If English people simply flew their own flag for positive reasons - you have a lot to celebrate and be proud of - then that’s not a problem. But that isn’t what’s happening right now.

  I’ve just come back from a holiday in Canada. It was lovely seeing their flags. Travelling back from the airport seeing our 🇬🇧was great until I caught up with the news. 😢

  It's  like living in Belfast 20 years ago. ST. George's flags everywhere,  hatred everywhere and Graffiti everywhere. Sad. Wake up And look in the mirror.

  Being of Irish descent when the Republic of Ireland football team were last in the Euros I would place the tricolour on my balcony and my neighbours would have England and Wales flags. When our teams went out we put the flags away and still get them out for the Six Nations. No conflict, no discord, just enjoying our football and Rugby.
