  Man I wish fallout 4 had the perks that new Vegas had. Shotgun surgeon and stay back were awesome. Although I guess legendary effects serve a similar purpose

  Unsure if anybody noticed, but at the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soGF1ok50IY&amp;t=1606">26:46</a> mark the Gunner that died dropped a Plasma Infused Double Barrel shotgun. I know it was probably a downgrade, but it&apos;s still a pretty cool occurence.

  And yes as you showed in Park St, shotguns in FO4 (unlike real life) are basically melee weapons.

  I&apos;ve gotten a never-ending double barrel before. Absolutely insane, since the entire weapon is balanced around having to reload every other shot and it fires super fast.

  As you discovered, the drawbacks of shotguns include a high risk of friendly fire. I think shotguns are the only weapon that can aggro NPCs even when you use VATS.

  `<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soGF1ok50IY&amp;t=1145">19:05</a> Amazingly enough, radiation damage can hurt Super Mutants even though they have radiation immunity. This is because radiation damage goes off of rad resist, which doesn&apos;t equate to rad immunity. Most things with rad immunity have a rad resist of zero.
