Great video, man. Really appreciate the shout out, not necessary but I really do appreciate finally being acknowledged and credited for my contributions to Lego Front End from early 2007 to 2013. Best of luck on your channel and future videos.

At least Chima gets to live on through Ninjago as a part of its wider mythos. That's more than most Lego themes get and it's something to be grateful for.

Sounds like Chima just got caught in the crossfire.

They shoulda held off on Chima till the Ninjago fans cooled off and realized it was no longer a threat to Ninjago.

The theme may had ended, but the Realm of Chima, The Realm of Wyldness still lives on in Ninjago, especially in its least show Dragons Rising it has been monitored and cameo, also we even have characters from the now merged lands like Alfonzo Frohicky the Frog, Mucoids the Snail Tribe, Ras the Black Tiger, and even The Forbidden Five were all inhabitants of The Wyldness before they were turned into corrupted ghosts and I bet Laval and his friends still remember seeing Lloyd and Morro fighting over The Realm Crystal when they were on Spiral Mountain, and he said to them "Where'd you guys come from?" before they disappeared into another realm if the writers and directors ddecide to make episode when they all meet up.

Well this explains why Chima’s first season was so hit and miss. They were literally working with a one man band in the writers’ room.
And much like Nexo Knights the concept art ideas actually look much cooler than what actually got.

I get why Lord Ras is so angry at the Ninja.

Such a shame that Chima lost a lot of the love it deserved just because it was Ninjago's successor. I honestly think Chima would still be around today if it had came first. It's potential really was so unmatched that the Ninjago realms fused together just to have those animal tribes come back

I was legit shocked to find out there were people who hated Chima for "replacing" Ninjago because... well, in my hometown, we didn't have that much animus towards it. People liked Chima just like they liked Ninjago. Simple as that. In fact, I gave Chima a chance and became something of a Wolf Tribe collector (they should've been the villains of year 1; make Cragger's fall a more gradual thing and have him become year 2's villain).

Do I wish Chima lasted a little longer? Yes. But I honestly don't know how much more they could add on before it got self-cannibalizing. Therefore, I'm glad it lasted 3 years (a full three years, no less) and was done with it rather than going on endlessly without an end in sight like Ninjago (which should've ended in 2018 once Hunted wrapped up).
