  This Milan team was easily the best in the mid 2000s. But what many people forget is also the fact that they were also one of the most random teams. Especially in the CL. How Deportivo and Liverpool came back against them is still so baffling.

  It always surprises me how little they won in the league, but so dominant in th CL. As a  stage 4 depression Manchester United fan, that team always scared me. Then again, Roma, Inter, Juve, and Florentina had amazing squads. Other teams in Europe also more or less had a golden generation to a certain extend as well. After their golden era, losing Thiago Silva and Zlatan was red flag. Letting Pirlo was the final nail for that golden era. Didn't help that talents like Pato didn't pan out well

  Milan from 2004 - 2008 were my favourite team in Europe, along with Kakà being my favourite player long before he won the best player award. <br>What a time.

  As a United fan, i will never forget what Kaka did to us in 2007. Probably the most dominant performances in recent memory by a single player against and in form United. It was traumatizing to watch. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

  Ancelotti was exceptional in managing different characters and keeping them involved even when not playing. But to be fair he had an incredibile gruppo of players, incredibly professional. Tuo Costa mentoured Kakà for he is a professionisti and a very honest and generous guy!

  Really enjoyed the video. Loved this team growing up. Think there should have been some mention on the inexplicable collapse at Depotivo in the UCL 03/04 second leg which foreshadowed Istanbul, Shevchenko’s Bakon’dor, the effect loosing him in 2006 had on the team, the awful refereeing decision in the UCL 05/06 semi final second leg at the Nou Camp with the wrongly disallowed goal etc. but really enjoyed this none the less. This team did underachieve which considering they won two Champions Leagues and the title says a lot about how good they were.

  As a Milan fan who wasn’t alive to witness Milan’s golden age during the 80’s, 90’s, or 2000’s, I only got to watch them during 2010’s and onwards, I miss that era of Milan
