I think Madlib's beat is great for "easy listening" and relaxing time while The Alchemist's version is "better" for rapping.

I definitely like the alchemist version way more plus that transition where the beat gets pitched up when Tyler’s verse comes on is very well done.

I love how subjective music is. I wasn't expecting you to lay Westcoast drums on that sample chop.

Q-Tip sampled this for God Lives Through too. J Dilla vs JPEGMAFIA next, Runnin' and DIKEMBE! use the same sample

Check check! Al played those hats in by hand. It makes a big difference playing what you hear versus trying to line them up on the grid. 💪🏾

Your version is super unique in my opinion because if I were to listen to it without the knowledge that you used the same sample as both Al and Madlib, I would be shocked to learn that you did. Especially in a west coast sense.

I love Madlib more, but Uncle Al snapped on this one!

There is another instance of Al and Madlib using the same sample. Both Rhinestone Cowboy off Madvillainy and Baby $hit off Alfredo uses Maria Bethânia's 'Mariana Mariana'
