Imagine @AthenaPOffical finds Ever After High, makes a lore video on it, and finds out that Descendants is the reason why it's no longer airing.

In the prequel novel theres a line that says something like ' the isle was a fate worse than death, they knew that because many of the residents had been reserected to get put there'
Which is a level of petty vindictiveness not usually associated with "good guys"

Ben really needed to catch a break in these movies. The boy just wanted to end class discrimination and create a rehabilitation program and the universe punished him for that multiple times

I think the reason why Ben wasn't upset about Mal druging him was because his dad quite literally kept his mom prisoner before they got together, my boy doesn't know how a normal relationship starts

A little bit of information, Alice is technically not actually from Wonderland, she just goes there because of curiosity and possibly a hallucination or dream if the end of the book and original animated movie is anything to go by.

I refuse to believe that this franchises characters aren't at least 75% queer

I really think they handled Cameron’s death respectfully in the Rise of Red. Like I doubted they were gonna acknowledge anything, and they could have very easily gone with “they’re away with the other four”, seen as no one is pictured and it’s in opening monologue only…but they didn’t. They added an emotional beat that absolutely tore me apart as someone who grew up watching Cameron Boyce. They acknowledged that even in that universe, Carlos was gone. They lingered on it just enough to understand emotionally driven motivation. And then they moved on from that beat because “the moment” as such, was over. Uma shedding tears felt so real too.

It just felt far better than any way I thought Disney would handle something like this. They’re known for just recasting or ignoring, but to give a character and therefore an actor a send off like that, one only those old enough to know about Cameron Boyce would even understand, is extremely respectful. Honouring what he did for the series, and giving him a send off instead of just ignoring the issue.

I remember when descendants 3 came out, a little while after Cameron Boyce ( Carlos’s actor ) passed way and me and my friends watched the movie because we wanted to honor him. We cried the whole movie, it’s kinda silly when you realize what we were watching was a bunch of colorful haired Disney kids singing but it’s such a core memory lol

I just realized that Uma making ben fall in love with her is exactly what her mom did to Prince Eric. That’s so cool actually

Its so funny to me that Mal's dad is a character that was not only EXTREMELY queer coded in his original movie but is played by an actor who is GAY IN REAL LIFE.

They knew what they were fucking doing. There's no way. 😭

The movie series itself already felt like someone’s fanfic

But being hit with the fact that Mal is the lovechild of Maleficent and Hades just makes that fanfic-y feel even stronger
