Writer starts researching for a book about legend of Axe-Slinging-Slasher. Goes out to location for field research. Gets attacked and nearly killed by the confirmed real urban legend. Immediately  drops all work on book, doesn't even file police report. So much for journalistic integrity. 🙄

Listening to this reminds me of my husband of 21 years. He passed in a car accident only 13 days ago. I miss him so much.

Yes!! I work 3rd shift security, mobile patrol, and this is exactly what I need to keep me alert at work and helps time pass. The site I work at is right next to a huge field and then after the fence a big forest. It can be creepy lol. You have the best narration channel on YouTube.

I love the childhood stories that match up with mine. I REMEMBER sleepovers with GoldenEye AND talking about Silent Hill. Quick odd story. I'm from NH. Early 20s I moved to northern/coastal Maine. Worked a Goodwill donation trailer for a summer. I'd sort the boxes people brought and would sort into plastic totes.  One time an old storage tub got donated.  And omg, it was someone else's childhood things but mine.  Same books, same obscure PC strategy games, same old 3 ring binder, EXACT same old digital watch I had.  Mine had broken in a bicycle accident years before.  It was so odd, I sat silent and dumbfounded. My versions off all that stuff wore out and scratched years before. And I was 9 hours away from hometown. But here it was all in pristine condition.  I kept the games, still have them. Idk why but the sleepover story is so similar to me it reminded me of this.

The line "so you're telling me you brought me on a trail where we can possibly get our heads cut off?" Was way too funny to me. 😂
