I think we are missing an important factor. USA is not there to occupy Iran. It's there to weaken the regimes ability to attack or terrorize. So far the religious regime has been hit hard no doubt about it. The next few days will determine the extent of the damage the regime has sustained. I wouldn't underestimate USA political and military ability to carry through operations which benefit USA. Trump made a bold decision but for sure this was planned in detail well ahead.

Wrong. The USA has not lost every war since Korea. You all have forgotten Grenada, Panama, Desert Shield and Desert Storm.<br>Also, Tulsi Gabbard has no credibility so if she left now it wouldn't make a damn bit of difference.

I Scouldn't disagree more. Trump isn't an Emperor. The United States is not Rome. Rome fell because it ended up having one civil war after another. We are not going to invade Iran. We may occupy the islands in the Persian Gulf and maybe the beaches so they can't shoot at tankers from the shore. The Islamic regime is about to die. Just like Putin is destroying the Russian Federation. Russia is about to fall apart and lose to Ukraine. You don't like Trump and that's clear. Your pretending to be Roman is a little too cute. You are two old men, steeped in negativity. The Iranian people will over throw the regime. You should shut the hell up where you don't know what you are talking about. You live in an intellectual Ivory Tower, not the actual world.
