  My old headmaster in primary school , had a new one of these. I was always looking around it, and asking him stuff. Gave me &nbsp;a little trip in it, to the post office, if I remember right. Nice man.<br>I ended up being a mechanic 😂

  This takes me back to Africa in 1960. My father bought a second hand Rover 90 from 1955. We drove that car for over 100,000 miles and the only hassle we had was a fuel pump that stuck. I remember driving with my family on holiday from Northern Rhodesia to Victoria Falls in Southern Rhodesia. At times we were travelling at 90miles an hour on dirt roads. Memories!!

  In 1968, my brother found a 1960 Rover P5 in our local junkyard here on Cape Cod. It was dark green. He got it to run again! It was a really cool car!

  British engineering of the highest quality. &nbsp;Years ago when I was quite young, I went to a model aircraft club and the main man had a very similar Rover to that one. &nbsp;He loved it and owned it for years. &nbsp;Many years later I owned several Land Rovers. &nbsp;The early Land Rovers used very similar to that in the Rover 90. &nbsp;I later had a Land Rover with a six cylinder version of the engine. &nbsp;It was smooth, quiet and totally powerless. &nbsp;I loved it and the many other Land Rovers I owned. &nbsp;Sigh. &nbsp;Mike in Oz

  My old man drove around in one of these in 70s. Loved that car full red leather seats with drop down arm rest. Used to polish it up every weekend would sparkle in sun. Still remember reg plate.

  These cars were produced when cars were built to last. Fixable with a,few spanners, rugged and reliable. Smooth torquey engines a joy to drive

  I can smell that barn ... This is a real find! The gas tank has got to be all gummed up after this long time. I love it! What a beauty! I would drive that now...
