One thing to note is that in the rat dungeon, it's completely dark so the mind would begin to go crazy. Also the weight of the metal shackles would escalate the exhaustion rapidly. And there's no food for the prisoner, so no either you're a monster or you're not fighting off hundreds of palm sized rats
