  Interesting video! I was born and raised and still live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and I had never heard of any of these stories. I live on the opposite end of where most of the stories in the Upper Peninsula happened. There was a young student from Northern in Marquette that went missing in February 2026. I believe,I eve he had lost his cell phone and he left the bar he was at walking to go look for it. It was a really stormy night and he had last been seen on surveillance looking disoriented near the ice by Lake Superior. They just found him in April of 2026, two months later by using underwater technology. He was found by volunteers submerged by lower harbor. I’m not sure how far away that was from where he actually went in, I just know it’s not that far. Had they have not been looking for him with this equipment they still wouldn’t have found him. Yet. I believe a lot of people that go missing in the Upper Peninsula end up in Lake Superior and they say she never gives up the dead. Lake Superior is beautiful but it scares me when I think of the people that have lost their lives in the lake.

  as someone who has lived in michigan almost all of my life, the only place i've ever heard of the dog man is online. nobody talks about any dog man, he's never been blamed for any missing people. i didn't even hear about him until i was in my twenties when i looked up what "mythical" creature michigan was known for.
