  I adore this game&apos;s style so much, endlessly captivates me with it&apos;s use of pastels and implication of soft shapes, it&apos;s insane to me!! Kirby has and always will inspire me to try new things with my art

  I&apos;ve said in the past that 3-6 of KDL3 is my favorite puzzle in the whole series, but I am also a big fan of the weird vibes of its aesthetic. It feels like the precursor to the N64-uncanniness of Kirby 64.<br><br>The Shimomura Kirby games excel the most at uncanny, surreal environments that clash with the cutesy, fantastical nature of the series. Depending on how you look at it, the squiggles inside the pyramid can resemble circuits or a facsimile of a brain. The contrast with the dark pyramid really makes the background stick out, and make you notice the weirdness of it.<br><br>The black pyramid is surreal, but not the whimsical type of surreal that the rest of the series goes for - it&apos;s more uncanny, playing up the mystery aspect of &quot;how did it get there?&quot;. It&apos;s fascinating how different directors have their own take on storytelling. Sakurai&apos;s Kirby doesn&apos;t worry about questioning why things are the way they are - it&apos;s an adventure, go have some action-packed fun! Shimomura&apos;s Kirby invites you to slow down and take in the breathtaking scenery. It was never about complex movesets and racing from setpiece after setpiece - the game wants you to enjoy it as an artistic experience. Kumazaki&apos;s Kirby is somewhat action-focused, but also develops backstory to explain some of the more cosmic aspects of the series.<br><br>Kirby lives in a Dream Land, and a beautiful Dream Land it is.

  KDL3 looks like a coloring book, colored in with colored pencils and crayons. I love it so much for that

  One thing I like a lot about dl3 is that it was heavily utilized for 64 when it comes to which enemies were used and the general gameplay feel
