Spencer and his mother committed an extraordinarily grievous moral offense that should have cost them their lives. People won't do the right thing unless they're terrified of the consequences of doing the wrong thing. Fear makes people well behaved and society peaceful and orderly.

How do you deserve someone else's hard earned money? Brother has to earn his, like I earned mine. Keep what is yours and don't apologize for it - is the best advice her grandmother could have given her. He made no attempt to repay the 6k, so I would not even consider giving him another penny.

At least they warned her, of what was going on. And yes transferring the to a difference bank was smart, given how they messed up on the account. It keeps some idiot from reattaching unauthorized users.
