Master, what you've shared is pure gold. On my computer, your explanation in English is automatically translated into Spanish, and I can't hear you fluently because the AI still has its flaws in automatic translation. However, I've understood a lot of what you've shared, and it's excellent information. No teacher has ever spoken to me like you about the embouchure and the placement of the mouthpiece and the corners of the lips. I'll try to apply it little by little and will be attentive to your next video. You really do it very well.

It's called studying everyday practicing. I was a lead trumpet for 20 years and worked at Sony Recording studios as a freelance recording musician for 4 and a half years. It's all about studying I put in 7 to 8 hours daily every single day. Never went without a single practice study session and that made all the difference.

I played Trumpet for many years, and opinions regarding embouchure and mouthpieces are numerous and varied. I used a Bach 5C and 7C dependent on the style of music. 5C for concert music and 7C for jazz/swing/big band/pop music. That's what worked for me. I suggest you watch videos like this one along with many others. Try them and see what works for you. Everyone is different.

Not an easy concept to grasp. Teacher 's pinch sound is not terrible at all.

Thank you! This helped so much!

Being a tuba player, for contrast, I prefer very small ID mouthpieces for trumpet.
I've noticed sharp flat rims help me as well.

You are an MBA in this tutorial for this comeback player. BUT tough to actually get it in actuality. I've gone through this a few times, still don't get it. Will keep trying. However, Most of the YT tutorials are narrated by all exceptional players who may not understand that those who are not talented, excellent, or comebacks have a very hard time understanding how to apply your teachings. What you and others have INTUITIVELY over the years is hard to demo for others. We will keep at it.

I’ve bought an AR resonance mouthpiece and that has changed my life, leave or take (don’t really care but it’s absolutely true).
