I know of a lake like this. It's lake Oscar west of Alexandria MN.. It has two or more inlets but no outlets so the lake keeps growing. In a boat you have see wood lines where the stumps are just under water yet 100 yards from shore. Foundations of homes that are ten feet below the surface of the lake. I fished it so many years ago. The DNR used to stock it with tiger muskies and as long as you have an aluminum boat you should be fine..

They could use it in the Bakken for fracking pump it in the formation to push out oil the saltier the better there
