  Color had nothing to do with anything. This was about free speech and we should all have the right to our own opinion and to disbelieve someone,  especially when that someone was lying!

  These talk shows need to focus on subjects besides politics! We need more soap operas! Put One life to live and All my children back on mornings and afternoons then we won’t have anymore of these misunderstandings. People today can make up their own minds about what’s going on in the world and we can talk about it in the privacy of our homes . It’s nobody’s business what we think or feel if someone doesn’t like it well you don’t have to listen to it.

  The talk has been in a ratings spiral since Sharon&apos;s exit. All because two people pointed out the blazingly obvious fact that the princess was spoiled and kinda stupid.<br>The Emperor has no clothes.

  A very solid explanation of the complicated &nbsp;show which seems to have triggered Sharon&apos;s dismissal... I can see why some find the show upsetting, but I felt the conversation actually was very real. I wish that it had been seen as an opportunity to talk about what &nbsp;racism is and perhaps how we should handle the issue when we have views that differ from our friends&apos; or family&apos;s views.<br>I do not feel that Sharon&apos;s supporting her friend Piers&apos; right to have and state his opinion was a &nbsp;good reason for the long-time, award-winning &nbsp;co-host to be looked down upon and chastised, however. What she did was simply defend her friend&apos;s right to have an opinion. Also, it sounds as if Sharon should have been told clearly before the show began that this topic would be the show&apos;s focal point so she might have had some time to think about what she wanted to say about such an important subject.<br>Unfortunately, for Sharon and the show that day, there was a perfect storm of a mixture of elements that converged to create a sad situation that hurt Sharon and the show badly. She seems to be coming to terms with what happened though-- not so sure that the same is happening for &quot;The Talk.&quot; It is floundering.
