I was born in '85. A lot of these games define my current taste in gaming and I just finished a replay of Chrono Trigger. It is really cool to see younger folk get the same enjoyment out of these gems that I did in my youth. It can be hard to tell at times if I simply love these games because of nostalgia, or if they truly are great, so it is fun for me to see a younger generation respond to them in a way that suggests that there is something to the stories, gameplay, and charm of the 90's era JRPG that stands the test of time. I have watched several of your other videos and greatly enjoyed your (entirely theoretical if the FBI is reading this thread) content about pirating. Keep up the great work.

As someone wary of nostalgia around classic games, I played FF6 and Chrono Trigger for the first time in 2023 and those are absolute 10/10 games. Actual art.

Ahhh Pixa, your impeccable taste is why I’m subbed. I just want to rub in your fact the fact that I grew up in the 90s - I was 10 when Sectet of Mana came out, 11 for FF3u/6j, 12 for Chrono Trigger and Earthbound, 13 for Lufia 2, and 14 for FF7 and FF Tactics - and I got and played every one of them when they came out. If you think they’re great now, just imagine being there at the time.<br>Then I discovered girls, drugs, and punk music, and didn’t game for about a decade. But fuck, my nerdy teenage years were awesome.

The SNES era really WAS the Golden Age of JRPGs. My absolute favorite underrated gem being Secret of Evermore.

Those FF Legend games are the first games in the SaGa series. They used the Final Fantasy branding here to help with sales.

As someone who&apos;s been trying to get into 90s RPGs and didn&apos;t know where to start, I&apos;m writing these titles down! Great video!
