  @PFF - a few notes on your WAS commentary.<br><br>1) Chase Roullier is expected by almost everyone to be cut. &nbsp;They can get significant cap savings out of it, Roullier hasn&apos;t been able to stay healthy, and there are questions about how well he&apos;s going to recover from the most recent one. &nbsp;Gates is going to be the starter.<br>2) Realize that Forbes fits what WAS does almost to a T. &nbsp;This is a zone-match team that has been burned by trying to jam man-corners into their system (William Jackson). &nbsp;Forbes played alot of zone and already shows the savvy to be a good zone defender, yet also have the athleticism &nbsp;when they play man as a change-up.<br>3) Beat reporter John Keim has reported that WAS was really high on someone headed into day 2, but was terrified he wouldn&apos;t be there. &nbsp;Then when Martin was there, Keim&apos;s source revealed to him that in fact it was Martin. &nbsp;So they actually thought he was going even higher than 47.

  this will get lost in the sea of comments but the Pats had a good reason to take Ryland and Baringer. they spent a 4th on Ryland because the 9ers went Moody very early and thats what tends to spark these runs at other positions so the same logic applies to kickers. the Pats staff worked w Ryland and Baringer at the shrine bowl (i think it was the shrine bowl at least) and Baringer held for Ryland on field goals for that weekend so there is some familiarity there which is super important for elite special teams play. it was honestly a stacked class at punter and kicker and the Pats had needs at both of those positions. remember the names Bryce Baringer, Ethan Evans, and Michael Turk (and Brad Robbins, to a certain extent) because they are boutta raise the bar for punting in the NFL

  Genuinely though Zach Kuntz was going to go like 3rd-4th round. The right coach could turn him into one of the best receiving TEs in the league.

  I think the real thing with Forbes is, if you&apos;re gonna draft a guy like that, you need to have a specific vision on how to use him. If the plan is to just put him on an island against D.K. Metcalf, he&apos;s gonna get killed. However, Washington plays a zone heavy scheme. I think that&apos;s where Forbes makes the most sense. Let him sit in zone and pick off opposing offenses. He&apos;ll obviously still need to play man, but I do like Forbes&apos; fit in Washington&apos;s scheme. Same with Quan Martin. Washington plays a lot of 3 safety sets and has wanted to have a guy like Landon Collins in the secondary that can lineup against the run and in coverage. Then place that guy almost anywhere on the field to confuse the offense. Rivera specifically said in his press conference that they want to use him to help disguise coverages and I think Martin&apos;s flexibility to line up all over will help that.

  Thanks. Ive watched last year&apos;s series of these at least 3 times each. Appreciate the grind. Maybee Temple can Join the SEC. At least then it will save the Philly scouts a trip once a year.

  Keion White is interesting to the Patriots. &nbsp;Belicheck&apos;s pass rush approach is always so disciplined and &quot;stay in your lane&quot; oriented.

  I was a little surprised that the Pats didn&apos;t pick Broderick Jones themselves. I know he&apos;s not as polished as, say, Tristan Wirfs was but that&apos;s why we brought in Klemm. I can only assume it&apos;s because we&apos;ve reached our Jones quota. I&apos;m not disappointed though. We&apos;ve done a good job with corners recently and we haven&apos;t had anyone like Gonzalez.<br><br>I&apos;m probably most excited for Mapu though. He&apos;s a very fun player to watch.
