  Cecily Neville was NOT Richard III&apos;s and Edward IV&apos;s GRANDMOTHER. She was their MOTHER! For BOTH of those kings to have NOT been Plantagenets, it was either that their Mother, Cecily Neville &quot;cheated twice&quot; and that is a much bigger conspiracy OR it was the birth of Richard, 3rd Duke of York who was illegitimate. Which the video DOES say, but then it says that it was Cecily Neville&apos;s fault [either a conspiracy or an affair] but it would have been Richard of York&apos;s mother who &quot;cheated&quot; and her name was Anne Mortimer. And the story abot the Archer is relevant only to Edward IV because of the timing of his birth relative to his farther&apos;s travels. So, this whole video casts DOUBT upon itSELF. It purports to expose a historical inaccuracy while itself being GLARINGLY INACCURATE!

  I went a presentation at the time and it wasn&apos;t hidden that the mismatch could be on either side and that further investigation was required. There are probably other similar cases to be uncovered and plenty of corpses in the vaults to work on.

  Cecily Neville was Richard III&apos;s mother, not grandmother. &nbsp;If Richard III was Richard Duke of York&apos;s son by Cecily Neville (he apparently resembled his father), and the break happened with Edward IV, and not before, why wouldn&apos;t Richard have a claim?
