The 9/11 issue is bizarre in current continuity, since the sliding timescale means Peter presumably didn't become Spider-Man until a few years later.

Personally my only disagreement with this list is the lack of all star superman... I know it's been talked to death but I truly believe it is one of the most important comics of the 21zt century.

No Geoff Johns Green Lantern? It was huge back in the 2000s. Also Batman Hush was a big hit. Jim Lee coming to DC was a big deal.

6:35 Stan Lee saying he created a superhero he didn´t create? That´s a shocker!!

I'm surprised Brand New Day didn't make the cut here, although I suppose that's a bit more "infamous" than important.

The number one one has to be Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch’s The Ultimates; (by which I mean both The Ultimates and The Ultimates 2) that run of comics is not only the foundation for the whole MCU, (they were still pulling stuff from those comics by Infinity War and Endgame) but the popularity of the Ultimates in comparison to the 616 slowly had the 616 become more and more like The Ultimates and the Ultimate line at that time. The Secret Invasion comic event is also just a not as good rip-off of the secret alien invasion happening in the first volume of The Ultimates.

Two I’d say is Old Man Logan, which has been adapted to one degree or another three times now... first with Logan (although it’s almost more an adaptation of ‘90s Albert stuff), then with Deadpool and Wolverine, and then again with that Disney+ Marvel Zombies cartoon where a band of characters are trekking around the wasteland encountering a bunch of alternative versions of MCU characters.

Then I’d say number three is Civil War, which was one of the best selling events Marvel Comics has had in the 21st Century, and basically the only event that has done what an event is meant to do: It boosted sales of all its tie-in series. It’s also essentially been adapted into movies twice. First time was Captain America Civil War, which really should have been called Avengers: Civil War. The second time was Captain America: Brave New World, which is like an adaptation of the 2 parter Gamma World from the, The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon with leftover Civil War stuff the Civil War movie never used. Like Falcon Captain America surfing a jet, that’s from the Civil War comic; only it’s original Steve Rogers Captain America in the comic.

I'd say comics that should be on here are Final Crisis #2 with the proper return of Barry Allen and Green Lantern: Rebirth where Hal Jordan was brought back as the main Green Lantern and sets up the seminal run by Geoff Johns.

Also the end of House of M which sets up a new status quo for the X-Men going forward.

I scrubbed the video and didnt see The Ultimates (Millar/Hitch) . That book as well as Ultimate Spiderman shaped so much of the comic landscape and especially the mcu.
