  The next project is already under construction. <br>The „Langer Franz“ which is the former medieval-looking tower of the Frankfurt city hall is currently being reconstructed to it’s original look as it was before WW2.

  The reconstruction of Dresden including the magnificent Frauenkirche is testament to the German spirit. This is so inspiring and encouraging. Ugly architecture insults the dignity of those it is enforced upon.Thank you.

  The fact that the original plan was rejected by a diverse coalition of parties really shows that urbanism isn&apos;t really dependent on partisan politics, people everywhere want more livable and humane urban spaces.

  Frankfurt was definitely in top 5 most beautiful cities in Germany. Its Grunderzeit ornate buildings were magnificent. Need to restore them

  I believe #5 is the most important lesson here... People want Beauty back in their architecture. &nbsp;When we stopped building with beauty in the name of cost effectiveness, we lost a bit of our souls. &nbsp;It&apos;s wonderful to see how this city turned everything around and returned to its classic roots.

  Bravo for all the people involved in the restoration. The walkability and absence of cars and noise are big positive points.

  Was it really expensive? The construction costs for the entire project were 200 million euros, half of which were financed by the sale of apartments and commercial spaces. In the end it cost the city only 100 million. Many modernist architectural projects cost more!
