  Crazy how it crashed less on a pirated version of the game that I played in 2022 on a shitty laptop than it did on the official launcher.

  this is why for challenges like this the caveat has to be given &quot;if the game/objective forces me to use something other than my approved gear it&apos;s permitted&quot;, because a lot of games, new and old alike, run into the issue of &quot;game will force you to use X no matter what and will hard-lock you for refusing&quot;

  Crashing in 2026 is just the &quot;new normal&quot;. Doesn&apos;t matter if it&apos;s Far Cry 3, Deathloop, Metro Last Light, Fallout 4, Starfield, Hell divers 2, etc, etc.<br><br>Never had issues like this in my Xbox 360 or my old windows 7 PC.

  Ubisoft Just forgot to optimize the game for a modern 64bit system, it has a 4gb RAM limits, when you run out it just crashes, you have to download a tool that can &quot;convert&quot; It to a 64bit and take off the 4gb RAM limit and It Will not crash anymore.<br>Had to play this game to 60%, tired of tweaking options and deleting files to understand It.

  To fix the crashes, use LAA (Large Adress Aware) patch. It allows the game to use 4gm ram instead of 2gb. Ubisoft kinda broke the ram usage with it&apos;s connect overlay
