    Interesting Fact 1954.  The element Lithium Dueteride and Uranium  was used in the Castle Bravo Explosion. Which caused the world's worst radioactive fallout in history on island of Bikini Attol.

    Each type of fire is extinguished using different agents. Lithium fires are extinguished with sand or soil. This is due to the violent reaction of lithium upon contact with water.
