  One thing about the development; it wasn&apos;t given two years. It got thirteen months. The &apos;two years&apos; figure was what the dev team was <b>told</b> they had to work with before the game was suddenly moved up to Holiday 2002, slashing the anticipated cycle in half and forcing them to scramble to turn what was basically an alpha build into something saleable.<br><br>I imagine there&apos;s nobody more disappointed or frustrated with how ETD turned out than the dev team. They really sounded like they wanted to do the series justice and just got completely screwed over by Universal Interactive.

  I honestly think Toys for bob and activism could remake this game. They built the three games from the ground up for the trilogy. Also if they added extra levels and bosses it it could be better. I think it wouldn’t be too hard to do with a decent budget and timeframe of at least 2 years.

  I think what officially stopped my first attempt of a playthrough was when I encountered a glitch on the lava slide where Spyro fell through the lava, and ended up falling forever. Really, my sister, dad and I stared at his freakish shadowy falling animation for a solid five minutes before turning off the game and moving on to better things...

  Enter the Dragonflys history and behind the scenes stuff is more interesting than the actual game itself tbh.<br>Also, this is the first time in forever Youtube has recommended me video from a small channel. And a good channel.<br><br>What&apos;s going on!?

  I don&apos;t blame this game, nor the developers for how this game turned out. It could&apos;ve been fantastic had they not been forced to rush it&apos;s development. Ripto and Gnasty teaming up would&apos;ve been awesome (and that was even set up at the epilogue of Year of the Dragon so I like to believe the developers had at least played the first three.) I think this game deserves a second chance, I think someone should remake it the way it was meant to be built in the first place. With all the dragonflies and realms intact. &nbsp;<br>What annoys me is this game was such a missed opportunity, they could&apos;ve used it as a chance to expand on the Spyro lore and whatnot (basically world building.) It could&apos;ve been pretty fantastic.<br><br>Also part of me thinks that the hub world was meant to be an expanded version of Artisans. I mean the castles are almost a perfect match.

  I think this was a very fair review. I always thought this game had some creative worlds and interesting ideas to offer. If only that was the game we could&apos;ve had.

  I remember clipping my way through the locked gates. It was embarrassingly easy. Just charge the middle of the gate. For some reason that entertained me more than the actual game ever did

  Oh, my god. I exploited the HELL out of this game back when I was 7. In the hawaii island area, near a little pool that would lead you to what I remember being a secluded pool in a canyon area, you could &nbsp;jump at the edge, charge and repeat until you were swimming in the grass. Press the dive button (or whatever it was) and suddenly you&apos;d be lifted into the air, with absolutely NO LIMITS to where you could go. Spyro literally swam out of the map- you could go anywhere you wanted, as long as you didn&apos;t return to water, as that would end the glitch.

  This is the bastard child of the series but I loved it as a kid. Though way less than og spyro. Love the bubble breath , I personally like the graphics , and I even found gate skips as a kid way back when. Super fun.
