Palpatine really didn't blaspheme the sith way. He was its peak.

Palpatine was patient, and did have ultimate power in the universe, but by not preserving the Sith laws & rules, he ended up destroying the Sith and was his own downfall, and ended up being easier to destroy, and being a less lasting threat for the future of the galaxy than previous generations of Sith. Had he stuck to the Sith teachings, & actually let Vader grow and reach his ultimate potential, Sith power could have reigned for millennia.

Everyone talks about Vader but Emperor Palpatine is one of the best written, smartest and most patient villains in cinema history.

this is good stuff. I've been saying for years Bane would have considered Palpatine a coward..

No wonder Palpatine was so angry. He didn't have time in his day to poop...

All that meditation, study and power and he gets thrown down a shaft and vaporized.

Palpy was a failure because the empire that took a thousand years to form, only lasted 23 years, defeated by a naive boy and his own apprentice.
