I feel like Chinese tourists have gotten a lot better in the last 10-15 years. My first trip to Europe in 2013 they would be in the museums and public places touching everything, being loud and being completely oblivious but recently I haven’t really seen that outside of groups of elderly people which feels excusable or comparable with how older Americans can act

The targets you shot at were Japanese officers—-A war criminals—not the nationalismes. Even though the two political parties were rivals, they were both united in resisting Japan. China's memorial halls still honor many nationalist generals, and Nanjing is also home to the grand Mausoleum of Sun Yat-sen.They wouldn't use them as shooting targets for entertainment nowadays either.
