  When a government gives a grant for something, it isn’t because there’s potential in the project, it’s because they ticked enough criterias for funding.<br>Government entities have a budget to spend on grants and their staff won’t get a medal if they have money left over.

  The peak players was 83, and all of them were streamers ripping into the game. Nobody ever really bought or played Dustborn because they wanted to play it. Not even the developers, or their families.

  Still funny how the main characters, the &quot;heroes&quot;, were the worst and most insufferable people in the game.<br>Only one of them was somewhat ok, the old guy with the glasses, because he at least called out the main characters bullshit. But then they killed him off because of course they fucking did ...

Probably the same people will call you the most awful things for liking pixels too much.<br><br>Actually, I do appreciate this work of art for saying the quite parts out loud.   The 83 player count was from release day, likely the people with free keys, devs and streamers trying to make content. The weird fancy words the writer/dev use made me think that they rarely went outside into reality or even touch grass, they probably think grass is patriarchy for some reason. Cancel, Bully, Normalize/Gaslight; for some reason it gives the vibes of someone who guesses what the average Twitter troll likes to do and wanted to target the game for them.
