  It's wild that it's actually become easier to reuse the booster than the ship stage. It wasn't that long ago when people thought reusing a booster would be virtually impossible or at best not cost effective.

  I missed you giving NASA another credit besides the reuse of the Space Shuttle&apos;s side boosters: the DC-X, from 1991, which started with the Department of Defense and continued with NASA, commissioning the development to McDonnell Douglas.<br>A huge feat that allowed SpaceX to master and operationalize this technology later. In fact, many engineers from the DC-X project were hired directly by Blue Origin - which, it&apos;s worth mentioning, landed before SpaceX in tests, although SpaceX was the one who made it actually operational.<br><br>Otherwise, great video!<br><br>Ps: Rocket Lab was successful in another attempt to capture the Electron rocket with a helicopter.

  This footage of historical boosters resting at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpdX6kOXprM&amp;t=174">2:54</a> is truly incredible!<br><br>I wonder if the USSR ever sent some divers/submariners to retrieve any of those…<br><br>That is such a fascinating topic I’d never even thought of until this video! All those boosters are at the bottom of the ocean!

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpdX6kOXprM&amp;t=739">12:19</a> the reentry burn is not referred to as &quot;jellyfish&quot; that is an effect that occurs with the upper stage as it&apos;s plume interacts with sunlight during launches at a certain hour. Reentry burns are sometimes referred to as &quot;Supersonic retro-propulsion&quot; and is not preformed by the Superheavy booster as it has enough mass to act as a heat sink(a byproduct of using stainless steel) and separates at a low enough altitude to not require a reentry burn. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpdX6kOXprM&amp;t=752">12:32</a> New Glen uses strakes as it&apos;s control surface, not grid fins <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpdX6kOXprM&amp;t=814">13:34</a> Falcon 9 has 4 landing legs

  They can also use an expendable parachute system along with landing rockets.

  I like that SpaceX celebrates it failures. Using them as a learning experience rather than disappointing setbacks.
