  as an intersex man, I cannot express to you guys how important this is:<br>Understand that there is no true &quot;standard&quot; for cis men. The infinite combinations of experiences with sex, gender, appearance- it&apos;s all diverse. You aren&apos;t going to turn into some sort of &quot;true man&quot; by going on T. You are a part of a long history of men looking/feeling/acting completely different from one another. <br>This exploration has genuinely led me to feel so much more at peace with both my current body and whatever T may make of it. <br><br>Change is beautiful.

  Also, I&apos;ve heard that fat redistribution doesn&apos;t work by redistributing the fat you already have; rather, if you gain fat while on T, it will distribute in a more male typical pattern. So if you have a lot of fat around the hips and thighs, you&apos;d have to lose it and re-gain it for it to go more towards your abdomen/less female typical places. The same goes for E, vice versa.<br><br>I don&apos;t know if this is 100% true, but I&apos;m quite sure of it. Maybe this can help someone!

  niche testosterone effect: i produce noticeably more earwax now after 3 years on T. it’s slightly gross, i wash my ears more often than i used to

  I’m a trans guy in high school, and I’m not allowed to transition until I’m out of the house, they don’t want me stuck with a “Frankenstein body”. Growing up being different like this is the most isolating thing, especially when it’s in combination with other mental health stuff. It’s hopeful to see people who remind me that being myself isn’t unreachable. Change is beautiful.
