  I find it hilarious that you can clearly tell Stompy has absolutely nothing going on behind those eyes in his head lmaoooo the lights are on but no one is home and not a single thought is going through that brain lol. Bonus point whenever he stares blankly at the camera with his mouth wide open. Bonus bonus points whenever he stares at you blankly with his mouth open and then gets distracted by something shiny and immediately decides to try to eat it lol

  I spent last summer working with purple martins for a research project and during the day they don't spend too much time at "home" until they actually start laying eggs. That being said, they like to come all the way to Manitoba so they could also just be passing through unless they're 1st or 2nd years who don't quite have the hang of nesting yet. If you monitor it at 5-6am they'll still be sticking around their home base though, the colonies like to wait until everyone's awake before officially starting their bug hunting!

  Would probably be great for the horse, donkeys and Winnie to get one of those totem scratch brushes. Usually expensive like a .... but the sheer pleasure you see in the animals is just incredible to watch :)
