I found this to be of the most insightful interviews about his directing.

He's nearly 60 and looks fantastic for his age. One of the best storytellers of our time. I love all his work but The Grand Budapest is by far my favorite.

I really didn't like 'Asteroid City' but I loved 'Phoenician Scheme'. My favorite Wes movie is still Darjeeling

Wes Anderson is in the top three of directors, creators, writers in the movie business. His films are unicorn, often sweet, winsome, hilarious, but also deep and intellectual.

Wes is really leaning into a late Tom Wolfe look

Wes is one of the few directors who has that "I'm so happy to be here" energy. Love his philosophy, his complete unpretentious steez we could say. His last few films are straight up and down masterpieces. I'm saying this not as a fan boy of his, but as a filmmaker myself who adores the process; as frustrating and horrifyingly stressful as it can be. I love building a film family and working to create something. Can't wait to see the film.

I truly love him talking about his films, it’s always reflective and shows now much he loves film making

I read all these mediocre reviews of the movie, so when I saw it last night, I was shocked. It’s one of his absolute best. So rich and funny and MOVING. There are a lot of people who don’t like that he has a style and continues to work in it. But within that (glorioous) style, the movies are all very different, and often heartbreaking as they are uplifting.

By any name--and we name TPS the film of the year--thanks Mr. Anderson for showcasing the genius of the cast, the crew, and all of the stakeholders bringing this beautiful art into the world. We loved every frame and...WOW...Benicio del Toro! Counting the days to our next feast served up by Chef Anderson.
