Judge SHUTS HIM DOWN After He Says “I Made All My Payments”… Then Orders Just $50/Month!

#courtroomdrama #judge #courtcase Judge SHUTS HIM DOWN After He Says “I Made All My Payments”… Then Orders Just $50/Month! A routine Ford Motor credit case takes an emotional turn when a defendant appears in court asking the judge to set aside a default judgment. He insists he made his vehicle payments and says he believed keeping up with those payments meant he could keep the car. But the creditor's attorney presents a very different picture: the vehicle was recovered with more than 41,000 excess miles, with the claim largely involving excess-mileage charges and additional fees. The judge presses him on a crucial question: What exactly is his legal defense? As the hearing unfolds, the defendant explains that years of medical and financial problems have left him unemployed and struggling to pay. The judge ultimately denies the motion to set aside the default judgment — but the hearing doesn't end there. Instead, the judge conducts an installment-payment hearing and orders the defendant to pay $50 per month, beginning November 1, 2026. The creditor also tells the court that it will not pursue further collection actions such as wage or tax garnishment as long as the ordered payments are maintained. This hearing highlights the difference between having financial hardship and having a legal defense, while also showing how a court can address a defendant's ability to pay after a judgment has been entered. ⚖️ Watch the full hearing to see how the judge handles the default judgment, the excess-mileage claim, the defendant's financial situation, and the final $50/month payment arrangement.
