2006-09 was peak TNA. Your top guys were Joe, AJ, Christian, Sting, Angle & Abyss. Eventually they brought in Hardy, RVD & Lashley but all the changes killed the interest in TNA

i watched the first tna impact vs raw episode. i'll never forget the image of a blown up knobbs, lying face down on the apron gasping for air. from there i knew this wasnt going to end well.

I remember Hogan cutting the Impact promo and saying they were getting rid of the "gimmicky" 6-sided ring and the crowd booing.

I didn’t even know hogan and Eric were creative at TNA, but considering they had WCW fall into the toilet, I’m not one bit surprised that shit didn’t work out

I agree that HH and Bischoff were bad for TNA. They came in and destroyed the spark that TNA had. TNA had its golden years from 06-09. Soon as TNA brought in Hogan, Bischoff, and all the other old guys it went downhill.

Ken Anderson, RVD and (an admittedly compromised) Jeff Hardy were all favorites of mine. Too much focus on older, expensive guys who really couldn't go anymore.

I was loving TNA until they did the monday night thing. <br>Hogan and his entourage was like having your in-laws tagging along for your honeymoon.
