  Thank you for reacting to BTS. You are wrong about this song having a KPop sound. The song structure, it's instrumentation, are, chopped and screwed. The quirky knife sounds layered in the background  and vocal textures, with the Ha Ha Ha, is far from  your "typical" KPop sound.   There is nothing typical about KPop, it is not even a genre. It is an industry norm that have prescribed training agendas, styling and visuals, marketing plans, fan interaction and  cultivation. BTS has always been hip hop, it is their core and DNA. They are never ever the typical KPop sound. Their sound is, International and their artistry is on a level, the West cannot even begin to compare. That is why, they are the biggest and the best in the world. They sing in Korean primarily, with a smattering of some English and are, able to bridge into to the World over because their music and sound are a relatable language, that crosses all borders and transcends, far beyond a typical KPop sound .

  Love your reactions, but I don't understand why you assume BTS is synonymous with K-pop. I am a BTS fan. Their music hit me the first time I listened to them. Sure, they're Korean, but I've tried listening to "K-pop", and I haven't found anything comparable to BTS. I know I'm not the only one. Many BTS fans cringe when you lump us into K-pop. We can debate semantics all day, but the bottom line is that BTS and K-pop aren't the same. A hill I will die on...
