  I firmly believe that IW has one of the most interesting sci fi space warfare settings. No aliens, no supersoldiers, not even a different solar system. Just an interesting and honestly pretty grounded vision of the colonization of other planets, war for resources, planetary separatism and a villain that's pretty much the Roman Empire but in space

  The IW campaign is incredibly mature as a whole, not even just for a CoD campaign. If it was set in the 2010s with pretty much the exact same plot line, and came out in the golden age, it would be MW2 levels of beloved

  I still say this, but COD Infinite Warfare and COD World at War would be the franchise&apos;s best depiction of answering the call of duty and the real cost of war.

  Infinite Warfare&apos;s campaign is the first cod campaign that made me genuinely cry. It was fantastic all the way through. Definitely one of the best cod games. I don&apos;t think it having jetpacks is an excuse to dislike the game. Zombies was great and multiplayer wasn&apos;t the best but it was pretty good.

  Captain Reyes to me for only having a solo game has one of if not the best character arch ever in a COD protagonist. Sad to not see him widely being discussed in the same breath as the other greats they&apos;ve given us. They wrote him so well and he was portrayed and acted brilliantly.

On console editions they don&apos;t play the sound of the heartbeat over the speakers, they play it through the haptic motors in the controllers. You feel in your hands as he fades away, making it hit so much harder.
