My dad had the privilege to come to know George when they did dialysis together in Akron. My father never had anything to do with church or God, and so therefore none of us kids ever learned anything about Jesus. Then I went to The Salvation Army and learned about. With that being said, I really believe George helped dad.He gave him some c d's to listen to and he talked to him about the lord and I think my dad was helped more through that than anything. I was at the hospital when he was passing away but we were called away because my granddaughter had been killed in a car wreck. I always worried that dad would not make it to heaven but my nephew told me,I assure you aunt Joyce," "He's with Jesus. I sure pray my nephew's right cause, I really do want to see my dad again.

When my Mother was on her death bed, all of us (8) gathered around her.
She was smiling ( the doctors had her on Morphine) and in her minds eye, she was seeing us as small children.
Growing up with my family, when supper was ready and she’d open the back door and call out to us. She’d say “It’s Supper Time!)
I have so many happy memories of her. She passed away of cancer in 1981.
When it’s my time, and I Passover the first person I want to see is Jesus, and my Mother.
Rest in Peace Mom.❤

Ernie was always looking out for George as George started failing. It is great to see how younger people loved George

Wow 2003 is the year I graduated high school! My that was 20 years ago. I feel so old now.🤓George reminds me so much of my grandpa. He passed in September of 2002. I still miss him. I miss the days of talking to all my grandparents and learning from them. They were amazing people who had strong faith in their Savior. They along with my parents taught me how to live for Him. My dad passed when I was 15 and my mom suddenly 6 months ago. I still have much I could learn from them. It does hurt yet. I’m looking forward to the day of going home someday. Home to where I can see Jesus face to face and all my loved ones again. Home, there is no greater place to be.❤️🙏🏻☝🏼❤️

Even at this point in his life, weak and sick, George could still sing my friends. God blessed him with a gift.

Ernie I remember when you came to our church and sang. I remember George was sick and coming down to pray with you at the alter for him. George was always someone I wished I could immulate as a bass. I remember we went to Don Poblos for mexican after the evening service and you shared how you always asked the waitress or waiter "we're getting ready to say grace, is there any way we can pray specifically tonight for you?" My wife and I have carried that with us to this day. Ernie you have made a larger impact than you can even imagine. My wife has the Cathedrals playlist ready for the day God calls me home. But until them we will continue to sing His praises here on Earth for His glory and love to hear you lead those songs.
