    That's because there was a full time homemaker. A whole job. Try to outsource the stay at home role, and you need a maid, chef, personal assistant AND a full time, live in nanny.

    Social media did not exist so we had a lot more time to do things that actually matter. Average person’s screen time is 7 hours.

    I am a stay at home homemaker. I resent the statement that I am “setting aside my life” to clean a home. That IS my life and I love it.

    I like how they keep saying it "was" a reflection of a woman but it still is.  Now women are expected to do it while working one to two jobs.
