Only on Skillup's channel will the most mundane sounding video titles actually be more worrying than the negative ones

I agree that the main story isn’t amazing but I do think the storytelling for side quests has definitely improved. The world also feels a little more lived in compared to Tsushima. The combat also has a lot more depth with all the new enemy types and movesets.

I like how the title just tells you what to expect if you've been watching Skill Up.

I think it's important to keep in mind that most people do not play every single ubisoft style open world game. I haven't played one since Tsushima and this second serving of Tsushima is exactly what I asked for.

I saw a tiktok that said "I'll never forgive WB for pattenting the nemesis system." He also said, "imagine Yotei with a nemesis system" and I was like... oh shit.

When Yōtei got announced I was so excited that I decided I wanted to replay Tsushima, since it had been almost 5 years since I last played it. So I went through that whole game, DLC included, and even got the platinum. This was a big mistake, because by the time Yōtei did release I got about 10 hours in before realizing “Oh, this is basically the same as Tsushima at a mechanical level”. So maybe I’ll return to this game in a few years.

Important lesson from Tarantino, humanizing characterization is not the same thing as sympathetic justification.
