The end of this movie is still one of the most emotionally-satisfying climaxes put to film.

The last 10 minutes is the greatest anime adaptation ever. I believe the lady announcer that says go speed racer go in last lap is the original voice actress in the anime.

The commentator in the yellow shirt in the beginning is Peter Fernandez, the voice of Speed racer for the English dub.

Matthew Fox in that X outfit looks like a mix of Daredevil, Black Bolt and Batman mixed together.

Despite it's obvious flaws, this was my peak childhood. That final race is still one of the most hyped shit ever. Even as an adult, I still get goosebumps.😂

John Goodman in the ninja attack scene is peak anime action. He's not bothered about the attack so much as he's disappointed by the lack of quality in today's ninjas.

In the anime, Pilot X's costume includes the X mask, but his jumpsuit is all white with a giant red M on his chest, and in every episode they say that he is the deceased brother and that Speed doesn't know this. 🤣
