My goodness, Italo disco was so cool then, and still sounds fresh, especially placed in the context of the current lousy music scene.  In the 80s I knew only a limited number of Italo disco artists, some of it trickled in through the Iron Curtain to the Soviet Central Asia, but thanks God to Youtube I am discovering many of the genre's gems.  This one is an awesome compilation!!!

I had completely forgotten about Italo Disco. It was stored deep in the wells of my memory. As a child, all that I could remember was a high energy disco sound that was different from Hi-NRG. It took me about a half hour of listening to finally remember was it was. Thank you for uploading.
