  I am of Gabonese origin, from Central Africa, and an American citizen 🇺🇸 by naturalization.<br>I only came to know King Oyo after his death, and since then, I have been looking back on his life with great interest, thanks in part to this Afrowest Ug platform.<br><br>I was in Kampala between late December 2013 and January 2014. The first time I ever spent a New Year&apos;s Eve abroad was in Uganda, which means that on January 1st, 2014, I was in Kampala.<br>I knew nothing about the existing kingdoms in Uganda until I arrived there; and even then, the only one I had been told about was the Kingdom of Buganda, whose palace grounds I had visited.<br><br>Had I been made aware of the existence of the Kingdom of Tooro and its young king, I would have visited it.<br><br>The next time I visit Uganda, I will not leave the country without having visited the Kingdom of Tooro, because of King Oyo.<br><br>Thank you for continuing to tell us more about this monarch who left us too soon. I will continue to follow with great interest all the movements of the Queen Mother Best Kemigisa and what she intends to do to keep the memory of her son alive.<br><br>Thank you for everything.

  I just bumped into this one, and decided to watch. Great analysis! The grieving mother was treated very inhumanely by the male dominated alliance of lunatics! Good luck to her with her endeavors of continuing to mourn, celebrate and remember her only son through these projects. May the king rest peacefully. I support her. Long live king Oyo’s legacy!
