I’m so close to 100k I just paid off a $41,000 car hoping I can reach this 100k by next year. I’m completely debt free now no loans or any debt. My mom told me the same thing be able to stand on your own two feet. She’s so right I can’t buy a nice home with 100k but you can do so much you can start a business go to school and live comfortably. And saving up 10k was the first milestone for me. It was really the starting point for me. But saving this money meant I rarely shopped outside of basics I have no Netflix no Hulu no Amazon prime subscription and I deleted Uber Eats because it’s 45 dollars a meal versus five bucks to make a meal at home.

This really hit home. I know what it's like to start with very little. I went from sleeping in my car to building my own tax coaching business, and one lesson I've learned is that wealth is built through small, consistent choices over time.Bola's story is a great reminder that your current circumstances don't determine your future.
