  A Mauritian muslim (&apos;they make the best biryani&apos;) putting all the love and passion into the preparation of his food, while speaking English in a French accent, and welcoming Mark to eat at his family&apos;s dining table. This is Mauritius! 🇲🇺<br>❤💙💛💚

  My boyfriend and his family come from Mauritius and we&apos;ve eaten every type of Biryani ever but the Mauritian one hits different for sure. It&apos;s my favourite, with chutney or achar and a very cold glass of coke. Happy you visited this little paradise Mark.

  This is an excellent tour! I&apos;ve never heard of Mauritius before, and I&apos;m in awe of the locals&apos; commitment to proudly claiming their African heritage. The biryani experience was epic! I love how the biryani master poured so much love and skill into his culinary passion!

  Mauritian are very friendly and kind.In 2008 I worked at Calodyne,which is at the north of the island. Not far from our site,there was a family run big shop. Every time I went there for shopping, the son of the shop owner would take some beer and drink with me.😂It is also vivid in my memory that every morning bread would be delivered in front of the shop,and people just took and said themselves. Nice island,nice people.
