PBS Spacetime was the rabbithole that I fell down over 10 years ago, through which I eventually started watching star talk. So Grateful to Matt O'Down and the PBS spacetime production crew for everything they do, so excited to see him here talking with NDT

Chuck making the point about making science like basketball and seeing both Neil and Matt stop and realise for 5 seconds. The best part of the video. I loved it so much.

I love that Lord Nice GETS it, the same way the regular viewer gets it. You can see him making connections as the cast goes on. Its always great to see someone else having the reactions I do when learning and connecting data together.

Absolutely love Matt O’Dowd... I think he's severely underutilized for community outreach and being one of the 'faces' of physics and cosmology... he's got a great presence; he explains things in an understandable way, he has the smarts and background knowledge to really know and understand what he's talking about, not to mention he's chill and good looking... plus he's a legit scientist, in an area where a lot of community 'science exposure' is done by people 'reporting' on science yet are not actually scientists themselves, so he can field questions and actually knows the answers.<br><br>Definitely enjoyed this collab and hope to see more of Matt in the future!

Paraphrasing Matt, not sure if this had been said before...<br><br>Science is organized curiosity. <br><br>Beautiful <br><br>I didn't realize how enjoyable Matt would be without a script.

It's Matt! PBS Spacetime and Star Talk might be the only two channels I watch religiously(heh) these days.

I'll echo Chuck on the note he made at minute <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDbwGDGr4e0&t=3061">51:01</a>. This generation of science communicators is undoubtedly bringing science so close to us in such an enjoyable fashion! Thank you all for your time and efforts to make this possible and available for all of us!

We love PBS Space Time! The series doesn't shy away from more advanced concepts. We hoped to meet Matt at Black Rock Observatory on the Playa in 2012(?) but he was away from the scope when we wandered by one night. What I really wanted to say, however, is how much I appreciate Chuck co-hosting on StarTalk. He really blows me away with his insights and analogies during the interviews (and keen sense of humor too).

PBS Space Time is my favorite channel to watch when I want to remind myself how dumb I really am.
