"Do we, or do we not have a Xanax detector?" is one of my favorite O'Neillisms.

I used to have such a crush on Martouf. This episode really hit me back in the day. JR Bourne is also the only Stargate actor I ever managed to meet in person. Great guy. Nothing like having his picture on the wall, with his note that "SG1 rules the world" and my name spelled Michᐰl. :-)

This episode has a lot of good stuff in it. It not only has an O'Neillism and it has a funny Jack/Daniel moment, but it also plays with something we've only seen in parallel universe stories. The flirt with the Sam/Jack relationship and this is the first time they bring it to the forefront.
Not really a spoiler but there's a line in a much later season "There’s a file called 'fishing.'"

This episode never fails to make my eyes glassy. Jack and Sam are easily my top sci-fi OTP, and seeing them finally admit mutual feelings under such dire circumstances is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. 😭😭

Man, I LOVE Stargate!!! Glad I get to re-experience it through your eyes, Chris. Great reaction as always! 🖖🏽

This and BSG were hitting so far above their weight class. The acting and the writing were so far beyond anything we get today.

"If I am ever making a stupid choice... please stop me."
But... what kind of friend would I be if I denied you the oppertunity to learn from your mistakes... by being reminded of them everytime I laugh at you?

PS the scene between Sam and o Neil where he confesses he has feelings for sam is so good and moving it made me tear up 😁
