  Kudos to Roger Sadowsky for also producing some great videos here on YT where he personally shows you how to upgrade, setup, and perform maintenance on your bass... I just upgraded my MetroExpress PJ 5 with Sadowsky's OEM pickups and preamp and I had his video on to guide me....bass sounds great....just wanted to have a Sadowsky-esque experience after hearing about them for decades without spending 2-3 grand plus.... Love the fact that it's a PJ in a jazz bass body.... FYI the Sadowsky preamps are "boost only"... at 18db / 9volt.

  He's truly an alchemist when it comes to making basses that are comfortable, versatile for different styles, in tune, consistent up and down the neck, road-worthy..........just plain MUSICAL! I get a little more insight as to why they're so greaat every time Roger speaks about the Sadowsky basses. My career would not be the same with Roger Sadowsky !!! 🙏🏽

  I remember a video years ago when Roger said he'd never consider outsourcing to China..... although I'm glad he did because I love my Chinese made MetroExpress JJ.

  I was in Guitar Center last week and there was a MetroExpress bass instore (Orange) and I could not believe how light it was!

  Hey Roger.<br>I really appreciate this video so that I can understand what you&apos;re doing with the basses. And the quality you&apos;re putting into them. <br><br>I&apos;ve purchased an Express Vintage JJ 5 string in candy apple orange. It&apos;s my &quot;go to&quot; bass now for all the genres of music I play.<br><br>I just want to say that everything you&apos;re doing is exactly how I would do it, and have tried to do, in modding my own basses. Now it doesn&apos;t make any sense for me to do that, when I can just buy yours.<br><br>I want to mention that I believe you&apos;re reducing the &quot;instrument waste&quot;. And what I mean by that is, your making the instrument moddable from the beginning. So a person isn&apos;t stuck with an instrument they won&apos;t play anymore because they have a better one. When they are already used to the old one. I hope that makes sense. &nbsp;<br>Thank you for that. 🙏 <br><br>I also wanted to thank you for answering the emails I&apos;ve sent you. It really means a lot. And it further drives me to want to purchase your basses. And they&apos;re upgradeable too.
