Philip Rivers was one of the toughest sons of bitches to ever play the sport.

The fact that this game is almost 18 years old is insane. Time flies by fast asf

Just like the Super Bowl logos, the on-field logos for the playoffs used to be so much better. Screw minimalism

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only who routinely thinks about how this game would've gone if Rivers didn't tear his ACL against Indy the week prior

If this was in another world we could have seen the Swap Bowl between The Chargers and The Giants because of Eli and Rivers swap their teams that they originally got drafted to to their at the time current teams

Old Man Rivers deserves to go into the Hall of Fame, along with Eli and Big Ben

LT, Turner, and Sproles. Man, the SD Chargers were different. One of the best backfields— the rest of the team was tops too.

Man this makes me feel old. I was 20 years old and had been a patriots fan since 96 at this point. Talk about dominant. There was nothing like the 07 season. I still swear that had the Pats not played the giants so tough to set the touchdown records in the final game of the regular season the Pats would have won.

They showed their hand to the Giants and the Giants adjusted and knew exactly what to do to beat them.

Even so I would probably still take this Pats team over any team in history. They were unbelievably dominant. No one ever saw anything like it. It was like playing Madden on rookie mode every week
